I have a son, Sebastian, and my sister, Andrea, has two daughters, Kennedy and Mackenzie. When we had our babies, we found that there was a need for a place for families to take their children where the experience for the parents was just as important as the children. From this, my sister, my husband, and my brother-in-law came up with the idea of Piccolo Toronto.

We found a need in the community and decided to take advantage of the opportunity to create a place for our children and an opportunity for my sister to take charge of her own business venture with her family supporting her.

Piccolo Toronto is a luxury play place and event space in Vaughan that provides a place for families to create memories together. As people, my sister and I love celebrating any milestone – big or small - so creating this type of space made so much sense for us.

Our husbands, Harm and Juston, have been the backbone of the construction. We trust one another wholeheartedly and coming together to build this business. It has been an amazing experience and the silver lining is that our relationships have really grown for the better.

My sister operates the business on a day-to-day basis but Harm and I will be a part of the management team. The goal is to have her and her family grow the business for the good of the entire family!

I also have a brother, Jason, who is a fantastic photographer. With Piccolo Toronto, we will be bringing him into the business by being the company’s photographer for events that are hosted at the space. We want to take the opportunity to share it with our entire family, leaving no one out.
